  14. The common fault of results produced by RAD caused by the fact that those who
  15. hire believe you can now hire an idiot. It also makes it easier for idiots to
  16. produce something vs. nothing.

  18. RAD does NOT replace a skilled programmer.

  20. Get two programmers of equal skill, give one a RAD tool. Which one finishes
  21. faster and better?

  23. RAD is not at fault here. Bad programmers will always produce bad code.

  25. Imagine this:  An ape at a type writer will produce the words APE every nth
  26. tries, just as a law of averages.  A monkey on a word processer with "smart
  27. fill" will likely produce it more often.

  29.      However, an experienced typist does not use an archaic manual
  30. typewriter... They use word processors.
